WISHBONE OR BACKBONE?

         BONES are meant to give stability to the body, and if all wishes are bones, I'd say that earthworms would have one.

We're in such a time that only few are ready to build on a stable ground, while some build the kind of life they desire merely by wishing.

        If whatever you intend to build has a backbone, I mean, a strong foundation, you're ready to build what will not only serve you alone but generations to come. On the other hand, building on wishbone can't even support you, not to mention meeting the needs of others.


       Dreaming big might be cool if only you awake and put yourself to responsibilities that will actualise it; if not, the dream only becomes a fantasy. Arise from the ashes of wishes, put your back to work, and you're sure to wear the crown of dignity.

        A ll that surrounds the survival of humanity pushes us into running even without knowing what's setting us on a race, nor do we know how to run effectively, nor the end to which we're running. All we know is that we must run.   L eadership is a great responsibility that only those who have given themselves to be rightly prepared are truly fit to take up the task; hence, it's not a position for frivolity. We know there are various leaders, but here my references are to true leaders. Leaders doesn't emerge over the night, they've gone through building processes over the years through which they've had series of tearing and mending, rejection and acceptance, discouragement and upliftment, tears and happiness, agony and relief, yet they kept the focus in their hearts knowing the scars at each checkpoint is a healing balm to those following.   Leaders are not self-centred, such that even in their downtime, they find courage to strengthen the feeble knees.  They go all out with so much compassion and intentionality, with no sense of gain to attend to as many in need of help.
