                     CHRISTMAS OR XMAS ?

      

   One of the things we must learn as soldiers of Christ is to never let the truth slip away from us by deception, "This is why it is so crucial that we be all the more engaged and attentive to the truths that we have heard so that we do not drift off course"(Heb 2:1 TPT), and this, most especially during the time of celebration, for we are not ignorant of the devises of the enemy - if there are soldiers who are jubilating for the victory won and failed to remain on guard, then they're at the mercy of the enemies striking without warning. Without doubt, Jesus is the Man of the season and the prince of this world being subtle keep working to erase Jesus from the scene as there's no name on earth that is more offensive to the enemy and his cohort than the name JESUS CHRIST.

     The centre of the celebration is focused on Jesus and to this end the enemy has subtly introduced something simple but dangerous which some never pay attention to or think it's nothing. Christmas means the celebration of the coming of God's anointed one, Jesus and Xmas simply denote the celebration of that which is unreal, remember "X" is used to symbolize whatever that is unknown but we followers of Christ, know and believe this concerning Jesus Christ our Lord, who was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead and we are not of them that follow after an "unknown god" for it is in Him we live, move and have our being.

    Jesus is forever real and alive in our hearts, so therefore never let the testimony of Jesus that you've heard drift away from your heart. Never look away on this for he that introduces "Xmas" is never a fool for once,he knows what he's aiming after and if you'll agree with me not everyone, including some that goes to church celebrate this season with the consciousness of what the birth of Christ Jesus brought —"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins"(Matt 1:21 ). Know this as it's never some kind of formulation, when a man set his heart on celebrating Christmas, the realities of Christ coming continue to find expression in him, but when he set his heart on Xmas, Jesus begins to become unreal to him and he find no alignment with the life of Jesus. Know what you are celebrating!

    Finally, allow the healing words you’ve heard from me to live in you and make them a model for life as your faith and love for the Anointed One grows even more. Guard well this incomparable treasure by the Spirit of Holiness living within you. 2 Tim1:13,14(TPT)

        A ll that surrounds the survival of humanity pushes us into running even without knowing what's setting us on a race, nor do we know how to run effectively, nor the end to which we're running. All we know is that we must run.   L eadership is a great responsibility that only those who have given themselves to be rightly prepared are truly fit to take up the task; hence, it's not a position for frivolity. We know there are various leaders, but here my references are to true leaders. Leaders doesn't emerge over the night, they've gone through building processes over the years through which they've had series of tearing and mending, rejection and acceptance, discouragement and upliftment, tears and happiness, agony and relief, yet they kept the focus in their hearts knowing the scars at each checkpoint is a healing balm to those following.   Leaders are not self-centred, such that even in their downtime, they find courage to strengthen the feeble knees.  They go all out with so much compassion and intentionality, with no sense of gain to attend to as many in need of help.
